Designing cities to be pedestrian-friendly and ensuring that services, shops, education and public transport are all within easy reach is the central goal of the 15-minute city concept.

According to the findings, the distribution of amenities and services across most of Concepción shows high levels of accessibility, particularly in the city’s historic neighbourhoods.
